yes, Giesbert is a good hint, indeed, but solely for chord shapes, not for continuo playing. Furthermore, there are Fundamenta der Lautenmusique, which is a contemporaneous tutor for continuo playing on an 11c lute. Available from www.lautengesellschaft.de (click on Publikationen).
