Hi Ron, What a Beautiful piece! I also believe that an intro helps to set the mood of the song. It's good to know that more people do it as well. By the way, are you playing on ten course? Do you think bigger lutes are more apropriate to acompany? Maybe even an archlute, as Karamazov does?
