I have a 3/4 classical guitar that I would like to restring in nylon so that
I can tune it to a lute pitch. The scale is 23 1/4. It would be my hope
that I could use the guitar to travel.

Can anyone give me any general information about this Lute. I noticed that
someone is having difficulty keeping an Aria up to pitch. I would be
interested in any insights that you could pass along.

Can anybody give me information on what and how this should be done. The
raw wood is already becoming stained from the oils in my hand and arm. The
lute is a Pakistani lute so we are not talking about a very fine or delicate
instrument. The sound board is not the finest spruce either.
