Hello users, and mainly developers, ..
My question is, how reliable, how stable is LXC in a production environment?
.. how far is LXC from being released as stabile 1.0?
.. what OS is recommended for a stable environment with LXC?
.. what kernel version is recommended?
Thank you, ..
users.
Any advice appreciated, and considered. ..
Thank you.

Hi folks.
I know lxc-start is sensitive from where it is called. Like for example, it
doesn't like to be called from mc's shell. ..
I'm am trying to start a container via ssh. ..
Somehow I managed to create a shell script that can start it, but for some
reason executing the command directly

Hello.
The lxc-fedora template in 0.8.0-rc1 has still a bug, the script aborts, due to
a missing variable for yum: relreasever.
To fix, edit the file at line 112
YUM=yum --installroot $INSTALL_ROOT -y --nogpgcheck --releasever=$release
Just mention it, so it can be fixed in the final
Hi folks.
I'm trying to compose a system, where lxc containers behave like virtual hosts
for a web server.
As next step I would like to minimize container size. My question is, what the
best, most elegant and fail proof technique for that?
At this moment I'm thinking of a master container

I think, you might want to look at libvirt.
Libvirt creates virbr0, and that has only one static address, while the rest is
a dhcp territory. You can edit the xml file, free a range in the dhcp pool, or
set it to static. lak...@d250.hu

Hi folks.
I installed lxc with git, and compiled it. I use the templates to create the
rootfs, the lxc_sshd and lxc_fedora.
Defaults with libwirt installed. Fedora 16 x64, kernel 3.1.1-2
While running lxc-fedora I get these error messages:
Copying rootfs to /var/lib/lxc/fedora//rootfs ...sed:
