You're right, but it would be nice to see LXDE adopt some dead projects like gnome-mplayer and engrampa GTK2, simplify them to the max and rename them... "lxarchiver", "lxmplayer" I personally am simplifying gnome-mplayer removing stuff related to the Gnome desktop and some trivial dependencies
