We recommend NOT using that PPA unless you are a developer or part of
the Lubuntu team and have a reason to add it. We're currently looking at
Lubuntu LXQt images.

[Lxde-list] lxqt - icons in systray

2016-09-15 Thread RDH
Yes. sni-qt is installed (and I re-installed it just to test).

Still, the proper icons do not appear. I am testing this with the weather
application 'my-weather-indicator' in the atareo ppa.

Do you have sni-qt installed?

[Lxde-list] lxqt - icons in systray

2016-09-15 Thread RDH
Hello,

I have been testing lxqt from the lubuntu-dev daily ppa to replace my lxde
desktop. Mostly good except for a minor problem with some icons in the
bottom panel's systray. For some non-lxqt applications, the proper icons
are not displayed, instead a placeholder box icon appears. Also, when I
use the left button on the mouse while hovering over that icon, no action
occurs. However, right-clicking brings up the app's menu whereas in lxde
the icons appear correctly and left-clicking works.

Am I missing a dependency or environment variable? Or, is this expected
behavior for non-QT app?

Thank you.
