I start-up lynx, type o, gettting onto the options page, make
some change, and then say accept.
And then q out of lynx.
Check the box to Save options to disk:!
After which, I then ^Z and do ls -lsAt | head, and find that
NOTHING

When you make a change that you want to keep, go to the fourth item
from the top and check the Save to disk option. An X will show
that you have checked it. Then you can Accept the change. The
change will appear in the file lynx.rc, and will remain constant until
you make another
