hopelessly broken. It looks like the new tetex-* Packages moved around the
templates/styles etc.
I admit to having no clue about all the lowlevel teX stuff...which is why

was a bit different. Then I discovered that my Custom paper size no
longer worked, and gs was giving me \undefined errors. After some hours
of trying other things, including older versions of LyX, I went back

After I removed ~/.cvspass and the old lyx sources on my harddisk
everything worked fine (don't ask me why, I don't know).
