There seems to be a problem with this option. I compile cvs
--with-version-suffix=-cvs
and LyX sets the user dir to ~/./ (instead of ~/.lyx-cvs) and installs
into /usr/local/share (instead of /usr/local/share/lyx-cvs).

for tha as I have been pretty active with GNOME-translations. Anyhow.
To set things clear: I give permession to licence my contributions to
LyX under the Gnu General Public Licence, version 2 or later.
