Attached are the patches that I'd like to apply to the repository. The patches for the 1.4.x branch and for head are identical. The patch for the 1.3.x branch is simply the cleaned up lyx_configure.C file backported from 1.4.x/head. It allows the 1.3.x installer to use the same lyx_configure.dll
