Hi All.
I apologize to bore you again, but I got no reaction to this message.
Should I file a bug under bugzilla ? Or is it a temporary effect of using
cvs version ?

Sorry, I don't understand your point, what do you mean by "instant apply" ?.
"Default" is the usual setting, as we use a "document pr
: When outputing to latex, just check if the paragraph follows
the default -> nothing to be done; When displaying on screen, check the
actual alignment, no matter it comes from the default or is explicitely
set.
Btw, it was like this for 1.2 and 1.3; there were lot of changes in 1.

Here is an attempt for qt. Works well except for locale lang

ragraph code only, without checking (at least, right now) for
clashes everywhere in the code, e.g. if you copy a paragraph from a
tabular cell to a different "context" which could not yet handle
LYX_ALIGN_CONTEXT right now. This way, we can change the code only where
it is usefull and
be possible to test it, it will
still be time to discard everything ;-)
Alain
Note : the patch force column alignment to switch to "block" anytime you
enter the InsetTabular::tabularFeatures function with argument feature ==
SET_PWIDTH. The corresponding line of code should be deleted

will have to change the pop-up menu) ?
Hope I am clear enough.

nd the column is "fixed-width", then set the
cell inset alignment to the column alignment + the flag. This way, this is
the text inset which handles the display the usual way, while the LaTeX
output may remain unchanged.
Things are certainly a little bit more complex, but I won

Why not? Just give me a few time to find how to check-out 1.3.0 (I think I
got the HEAD the last time I used CVS).

r multiline related question : when a Cell is multiline, you
enclose it (in TeX output), between 2 \smallskip{}; This changes the cell
height quite a lot, and prevents top alignment (and bottom' one I guess)
to work properly anyway. Do you know why these smallskip were added for,
and if they
st : no real LyX nor LaTeX user can think that
way.
