I have uploaded a new version of the Windows installer to     http://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.3/ This SHOULD (and does seem to) use a versioned user directory but NOT have versioned executables. Please test. Stefan: I am pretty sure this will be the final version, but I don't want to tag
