OK, to recap this is what I will try to do: - Some BibTeX files can be marked by a special header if they can be managed by LyX, e.g. % manager: LyX as the first line - Add a function bibtex-entry-get key that retrieves a BibTeX entry given its key - Add a function bibtex-entry-put entry
