I'm working with LyX 2.2.0, Windows 10 and MiKTeX 2.9 distibution. If I write in my preamble: \usepackage{tikz} \usetikzlibrary{external} \tikzexternalize[prefix={Figures/}] all works well, but the externalized files are stored in a LyX temp dir, hence I loose them when I close LyX (you use

If have already upgraded to LyX 2.2.0 on Windows 10 but I still have also LyX 2.1.4 on my pc. Could it be useful to upgrade my 2.1.4 to 2.1.5? For example, in case of errors in 2.2.0, just to compare the behaviour in 2.1.5? Or is it unadvisable? Thank you, bye! Carla
