To reproduce without ctest:

Open lib/doc/Customization.lyx
Select output format to PDF (LuaTeX)
Select system fonts (no TeX)
Display

I had to use
        \usepackage{scrhack}
in the preamble _and_ remove 'BCOR7.5mm' from the class options. Still, 
lualatex exits with error.
Created pdf-file looks OK.
