In the attached, if the note hiding the 'date' is dissolved (so date is

How do you see latin9?
In lyx the setting Document/settings/language/encoding is 'language default'.
If I try export/LaTeX/luatex or export/LaTeX/pdflatex it crashes.

I could as 'where is' the key binding, or simply list all the bindings.

In inserted graphics, we can select a page from a multi-page pdf using
"latex and lyx options". This will show the correct graphics in the
pdf output. But the preview always shows page 1. Would be nice to
implement something to fix the preview.

One problem I have with current UI, is switching environments. To switch to
e.g., Title, I have to choose it from a (often very long) list. Worse,
this list is not organized in any way I can understand (e.g.,
alphabetical).
If there are keyboard shortcuts to select these, I haven't found them -
I notice that the status line (if this is the correct term) shows some info
when choosing fonts, and other 'meta' commands. For example, M-c will then
show choices. This is reminiscent of emacs.
With emacs, however, I would learn the bindings by hitting ?, to get some
info. Wish lyx did this.
In my title I tried to insert:
Revision ERT{\input{build_id}}
On the screen, it says: \INPUT{BUILD_ID}
because I'm using ams art, and title is caps.
I chose 'view source', it says:
\title{SCMA Design Document\\
Revision \input{build_id}}
\maketitle
OK, fine. Just a screen buglet. Wait, no!

I like the tables, with colored backgrounds, characters. Seems lyx choices
here are really limited. Just a few text colors, not background colors.
In default article format, the title size is smaller than the author. Looks
strange.

I have been looking at solutions for presenting math on the web. I've been
following this subject for years, but AFAICT there hasn't really been any
progress. Various efforts have been started, but it doesn't seem like any
have come to fruition.
What is the recommended approach at this point to
in svn, in src/support/path.h:
#ifndef PATH_C
#define Path(x) unnamed_Path;
#endif
This is evil, and will not work with boost-1.34, where we have
in boost/filesystem/operations.hpp:
return Path( Path::traits_type::to_internal( ph ) );
There are more patches needed to build lyx-devel with boost-1.34. I wonder
whether these can be committed? If not, can I find them somewhere?
(Latest problem is related to boost::filesystem and system_errno)
Built lyx-1.5.0svn + boost-1.34 with merge from
svn://svn.lyx.org/lyx/lyx-devel/branches/personal/larsbj/boost-1.34
