mime type for lyx documents

I just wondered if there is a "standard" mime-type for lyx documents.
If there isn't, my suggestion is application/x-lyx.

Is you use the application/x-* you don't need to register. Just make
sure the world knows about it (mailcap and mime.types). KDE and gnome
should also be updated.
If you want to use application/lyx (no meaning really), you have to
register it with the IANA.
