Rainer, I am not too sure what the ngerman dictionary is but maybe I can be of some help. I am assuming that you are using ispell ? If you have the ngerman dictionary installed you can get LyX (ispell) to use this to check the spelling by edit-preferences-Lang Opts-Spell checker select use
