fonts.alias / fonts.scale

2003-03-30 Thread /* jsha */
Hello! I've got a directory filled with Type1 fonts (.afm, .inf, .pfa, .pfb and .pfm accompanying each font release) which I'm trying to install on X11. However, in order to make mkfontdir work I seem to need a fonts.alias and/or fonts.scale in advance. How do I make one? Thanks, ---johann

gbib and lyx-1.2.3 -- .lyxpipe problem

2003-03-30 Thread Ben Luey
I have lyx-1.2.3 and gbib-0.1.1 (Mandrake-9.1). I reconfigured lyx for the pipe to have the path /home/username/.lyxpipe. It creates the pipe fine. When I run lyx and then gbib and click on cite, it appears to connect to the lyxpipe, but when I clikc on insert cite or insert bibtex, etc, nothing
