Hello,
When I export my LyX documents to external formats the font size for
sub/superscripts isn't decreased as you would expect. How come?
Do I have to set the font size manualy for every single sub/superscript?

I use the CM-super fonts (PS type 1).

dictum giving error.
I am using lyx 1.3.3, komascript book class.
I do the following.
After a chapter heading I type some words and choose the
environment to be dictum. The words shift by itself to the
right.
When I compile I get the following error towards the end(!!) of the
document.
While I'm becoming more familiar with LyX and LaTeX, I would like some
help in entering equations such as the following:
/0 if f(x) sup f
| R_i
|
| f(x)-sup f

Hi all,
My problem is the following:
I'm trying to get 2 consecutive definitions to be considered separate
ones. But if I give them the same layout, LyX will merge them (using AMS
at least).
I was told to ask here for a workaround. Is there a bug fix planned for
this?

The workaround is to finish your first definition, put something
(anything) in another environment such as Comment and then start your
new definition after the comment..

Dear all,
I knew that this topic has been asked before, but i couldn't find the answer.
I added

I am not able to give non bold subscript to a bold variable.
When I come out of the bold marked area (pink boundary) of the variable and
then type underscore it goes back into the pink boundary.

Sorry got it. AMS required...
A thng to be noted is that the using AMS starts having effect only
on the next new equation you type after switching it on
