LyX 1.3.2 via X-server

Does anyone here have any experience using LyX 1.3.2 through an X-server? I'm using Exceed (tried X-Win32 as well), and as usual, there are problems with fonts. Even though I have installed the latex-xft-fonts both on my local windows machine, and on the remote host, fonts display in LyX like
