LyX 1.1.5: A couple of questions on citation

Two more slightly related questions: 1) Is it still impossible in Lyx to glue multiple citations together? I mean citations always show up as [1][2][3][6] and not as [1,2,3,6] 2) Is there a way to automatically have latex change the sequence [1,2,3,6] into [1-3,6]. Or even better:

The following is probably more a question about how tex deals with postscript-files. I want to insert a figure, which is cut out of a postscript-fit, simply by changing the parameters of the "Boundary Box" in the postscript source. The figure is placed correctly, but the cut out portion shows up
