When I embed a bibliography in the Lyx file itself (using the .AUX or
.bbl file), and then click on a citation reference in the Lyx file, I do
not get the option to choose a citation style, as I do when I call the
citation from a bibtex database. I am using natbib (author-year), and

Can anyone tell me what is the latest Lyx version that is available for
Kubuntu 64 bits? It seems that the repositories only have 1.6.2, and
the only 1.6.3 version I found was meant for Karmic (9.10) which is not
out yet.

I am working on a manuscript with several authors, each from a different
institution.
I tried to indicate the diffirent affiliations using superscripts in the
AUTHOR field of the title.
t worked fine in Lyx 1.6.3 (under Windows), but not under 1.6.2 (under
Linux/kubuntu, where I do not have 1.6.
I forgot to mention that the way in which it fails is that there are ?
where the superscript references should be.

I have also seen the disappearance of Lyx when trying to get to the end

Thanks. I did suspect a converter, but the lists of converters under

addition, both Windows machines are running the same version of Lyx,
installed a couple of days apart. It is unclear why they should differ,
