Does LyX make backup of files that were never saved? I was working on
a new file, which I had not saved before, when my laptop crashed.
I am using LyX 2.0.0 on Ubuntu.
Thanks,

I've successfully used the Preview Inset to display qtrees. Can I use it for
PSTricks too?
Ultimately, I want to use the package pst-sigsys and preview a diagram like
the one appended.
Thanks!

I was misled by the LyX preview. The integral looks great to me in the

How could I make an integral sign stretch so that its height is close to
the height of the integrand?
For example, see http://oi51.tinypic.com/qnpedi.jpg
Thank you,

I've recently started using LyX and even more recently discovered it
integrates nicely with Maxima CAS.
Is there any configuration that I can change so that it translates
\binom{x}{y} to Maxima's: binomial(6,3) ? It already seems to do this
for things like \int and \sum.
Thanks,
Gustavo
