I would like to add a number in the margin of each line in a manuscript
(either sequential, or re-starting on each page), but I have been unable
to find anything on the topic in the User Guide or Extended help (or in
Google line number and LyX).
I would be grateful for any and all leads.

Two ways:
1. A long title will wrap.
2. Insert:special character:line break.

LyX 1.3.4/5, Mac OS 10.3.7
When I use the Author field, LyX won't wrap author names or allow me to
use multiple lines of authors. Instead, it keeps everything on one line
that extends through the margin and off the page.
