step and in the table I put the graphic in one column,
the text in the other.

Powerdot is also nicefor me, somewhat easier to
use.
LyX also has doc type slides which is easy to start
with.

One thing I did find strange is that it would only
work when the table was left justified. If I tried to
center and scale it I received an error during the
latex run.
So, at least for now, I have to settle for keeping the
tables on the left
I will use it often.
