When I cite a work with many authors I'd like to have Name1 et al(year) but I get Name1 et al(year)Name1, Name2, Name3, Name4 etc. I use BibTex with a custom style that is attached; in my LaTeX preamble I wrote \usepackage{cite} \renewcommand\citeleft{} \renewcommand\citeright{}
