weird footnote symbol

suggest how to use > \raisebox for just the footnote symbol in a single instance? I would try with Ctrl-L (to get the ERT-inset) and write \raisebox{3mm}{ then move out of the box, insert a footnote with LyX and behind it one more ERT inset with the closing }. Untested, though. Günter

Hi Gunter, Even when the footnote is set to the large font (and the footnote text is then large), the symbol for the footnote in my text is still the default small size and still in the wrong place. If \raisebox is the only solution, could you suggest how to use \raisebox for just the footnote
