Language problem in LyX port for windows

Hi all, I just installed the LyX port for windows and it works ok, despite that I can't get language specific letters, like thosein Swedish, even though I specify the language in LyX. I'm using a standard distribution of MiKTeX. Anyone else experienced this problem? Thanks in advance,
