Put the options in: Document-Settings-Document Class-Options and don't specify anything in the preamble. Cheers, /Bob You mean simply adding 'sort' to the other options? As in: chapterprefix, sort I tried that and it doesn't change the order of the citations. I forgot to mention

Strange. It works on my end with Koma and elsart-harv. I did assume that you have Document-Settings-Bibliography set to Natbib-Numerical, which is why you received an error saying Natbib has already been called. Could you send a small example file demonstrating the problem? Cheers, /Bob
