I had a swell time using Lyx to work on this document in RedHat linux
with Lyx 1.1.6fix4:

2 problems came up I was not able to solve.
My coauthor used a text editor to prepare some tabulars in LaTeX (I
think he used WinEdt).

Hello,
Le sam 6 jan, Andre Poenitz m'a crit:
What can I do, besides hacking all the tables once again into the document?
You could try to export to tab/newline separated text. I seem to remeber
that it is possible to paste such a beast into a table.
Thanks for this tips, it works fine.

Hi!
I have quite a lot of MS-Excel (sorry!) tables to import into my
LyX--Document.
There is a litle macro excel2latex which saves the current selction to a
.tex--file. But LyX 1.1.5f2 (SuSE7 on Intel) or maybe the laTeX has some
problmes with that files. Because reLyX has some problems with
Hello,
can you give a bit more information about the errors?
Can you produce a dvi with latex directly?
Maybe you can simplify your tables?
