Urgent: problem with language document on compilation

Hi, I've got a real problem. I use an interface in french, and my document is configured in english. But, when I compile it, I have not table of content, but Table des matières ! How can I fix that ? In Documents settings / Language, English is default... Thanks, Thibaud.
