  Actually found a much better solution this morning while rummaging around
in ImgagMagick. By using the import function with the -frame option captures
the window (and its frame) in which the '+' cursor is placed. The syntax is:
import -frame filename.png|jpg|...

  I kept a small console window open next to the application frame and went
from one notebook tab to the next using import. When inserted in the LyX
document they all allowed changes to the bounding box.

I've deleted a group-closing symbol because it seems to be
spurious, as in `$x}$'. But perhaps the } is legitimate and
you forgot something else, as in `\hbox{$x}'. In such cases
the way to recover is to insert both the forgotten and the
deleted material, e.g., by typing `I$}'.

Thanks for the MWE. I confirm that for LyX 2.1.0 the compilation
succeeds on tmp.lyx, but for 2.1.3 the compilation fails.

The diff between the LaTeX (pdflatex) produced by the two versions is below:

However that bug is fixed in master but I still cannot compile the

I have managed to get my screen font and output fonts set to 'unspell' as
wanted and it is working well.

My next problem is that would like to mix two fonts in the body of the

obvious to me how to do this when all I want to do is change the font

  Actually found a much better solution this morning while rummaging around

the window (and its frame) in which the '+' cursor is placed. The syntax is:
import -frame .

  I kept a small console window open next to the application frame and went

Re: New version 2.1.3

2015-02-24 Thread Patrick Dupre
Actually, it is due to the sub figure.
In the previous version it was OK.

Thanks for the MWE. I confirm that for LyX 2.1.0 the compilation
succeeds on tmp.lyx, but for 2.1.3 the compilation fails.

The diff between the LaTeX (pdflatex) produced by the two versions is below:

This seems to be related to http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/9421.
However that bug is fixed in master but I still cannot compile the
file on current master.

Re: beamer

2015-02-24 Thread Patrick Dupre
Hello

Actually the issue come also to generation of the latex (plain):
I can generate
\setcounter{tocdepth}{1}
or
\setcounter{tocdepth}{3}

but never:
\setcounter{tocdepth}{2}
while it is required to get Sections and Subsections only!
Numbering & TOC in setting.
