Hi Helen,

Although we did not introduce an actual horizontal scrollbar we improved
horizontal scrolling with the cursor. See
http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/NewInLyX22#scroll

If you would like to test this out, you can use the latest beta version
of 2.2.0:
ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.2/2.2.0-latest
It is just a test version so the usual warnings apply of be careful and
backup. We'd be interested in any feedback you might have.

Best,

Scott

No problem, thanks for getting back to us. If you have the problem
again, please keep the original file.

Hi Scott,

Many thanks for your email. One of your users helped me by opening my file on
his computer, save it in the new version and sent it back to me, so
unfortunately I deleted the old version. Very sorry about this.

Thanks, Áron

Dear Ross and Aaron,

Do you have any example files that you can send us that do not open for you on
newer versions of LyX? This could really help us fix bugs so that future users
do not run into similar problems.

Best,

Scott
