Many thanks to all those involved with 2.2.0. It has been packaged by the team and added to the MX-Linux test repos. My own installation on MX-15 went without any issues. Have not found any bugs nor backwards compatibility problems, Lyx 2.2.0 should soon be upgraded to the main MX repository.
