I am writing a document using layout-document-class-book. The margins
left, right, bottom and top are all set to 20mm. When printing the
document from gv it is as if the whole page is shifted down. The top
margin is more tha 20mm and the bottom one less than 20mm. Is there some
setting that I am missing?

Yes, but in the first stage I would be completely happy with reasonable
default settings.

By the way, hyperref would be interesting in the case of dvi output,
too; this is particularly useful for previewing. As for now, I have to
configure the LaTeX preamble (to contain \usepackage{hyperref}), when I
want to activate hyperref. It would be nice to have a Layout-Document

\label{foo_bar} in math mode will break.

Basically, it is better to avoid using _ in labels. The reLyX author
(Amir) is currently not available for comment, but I think he said
that this one is difficult to solve due to the structure of reLyX.

You have to change the lengths \itemsep and \topsep. This has to be
done at the beginning of the list by adding the following marked as
TeX:
  \setlength{\itemsep}{1cm}
  \setlength{\topsep}{0.5cm}
(or whatever length you want).

If you want to do it for *all* enumerate environments, add to your
preamble:

\let\oldenumerate=\enumerate
\renewcommand{\enumerate}{%
  \oldenumerate%
  \setlength{\itemsep}{1cm}%
  \setlength{\topsep}{0.5cm}%
}

Mini bug in LyX

1999-06-11 Thread Antonio Zugaldia Rodriguez

Hallo everybody!

You may think I am crazy, but I have tried an enumerate bigger than 255
items, and LyX don't know to count 256. LyX begins again with 0, 1, 2,
... (254, 255, 0, 1, 2, ...)

Regards!

Antonio.
