label management suggestions

2000-04-10 Thread Paolo M. Pumilia

Sometimes your label to equation is only slightly different from of a previous one
or is a change of the currently assigned one. In that case, having a list of all
labels already assingned to the doc, within the insert-label window, would be very
useful. You could pick up and edit one from the list and quickly get the label you
want.

characters in labels

2000-04-10 Thread Paolo M. Pumilia

I noticed that extended ascii characters cannot be included in labels
to equations.
In the present case, it happens that the character "à" is correctly rendered
within the label, while in the editing session, but it disappears the next
time the file will be opened.
That happens even though latin1 encoding has been set in the document layout.

Could that limitation be easily removed in the netx LyX version?

thank you

2000-04-10 Thread Tom Crane

Dear All,
I have encountered the following problem with exported Latex from
Lyx 1.0.4. I put a citation reference inside a table caption. A manual
fix is to edit the Latex O/P and prefix the \cite with a \protect. Does
anybody know if this has been fixed in the latest version of Lyx?

Regards
Tom.

Re: TTF-Fonts as Screen-Fonts (SOLVED)

2000-04-10 Thread Jan Ulrich Hasecke

Hallo Lyxers!

A month ago I had the problem using ttf-fonts with spaces in their
names. With the help of some other lyxers I now found the solution.

If you want to use a font like this:

-ttf-aldine401 bt-medium-r-normal-roman-0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1

You have to put quotes only around the _space_ not around the whole
name of the ttf-font.

Eg. from my lyxrc:

\screen_font_roman -ttf-aldine401" "
