Hi, just a question from typohgraphy -- how much binding is use of superscript of {st,nd,th} of ordinal numerals (in name of century for example)? Or is it better to use normal-size fonts? I have already prepared \noth macro \newcommand{\noth}{$^{\mathrm{th}}$} but I am now not sure, whether

have already prepared \noth macro \newcommand{\noth}{$^{\mathrm{th}}$} but I am now not sure, whether it is right to use it all. May anybody help me? i prefer newcommand\noth{\raisebox{-1ex}{\footnotesize th}} sorry, but this subscript, choose {+1ex} for superscript Herbert
