Exercise/Problem environment in AMS-book

2002-05-27 Thread Atul Narang

How does one use the Exercise or Problem environment in AMS-book?

It doesn't seem to work like the enumerate environent. If I choose the
problem environment, type a problem, and then hit RETURN at the end
of the problem statement, I don't get a new problem number.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Atul

I can't install new dokument classes

2002-05-27 Thread Edmund Lindmayer

Hi friends and lyx users

I'm using LYX 1.1.6fix4 with SuSE 8.0.
I tried a dozen times to install new Document Classes , following step by step
the instructions of the customization docs.
The TEXMFLOCAL, TEXFM are set correctly, texhash produces the ls-R. But
reconfigure is not finding the new classes.

I tried it with the example from the customization doc, chapter 6.2.2 (rename,
and modify a class), and with the SuSE book class.

What can I do?

Thank you very much!

Eddie

LyX and OpenBSD 3.0

2002-05-27 Thread Kent Kostuk

Until recently LyX was included as in the list of packages for OpenBSD
3.0 (lyx-1.1.6fix4.tgz). I can not seem to find it. Does anyone in this
list know where I can get lyx for OpenBSD, or am I going to have to get
adventerous and compile it from the source?

CJK-LyX-1.2.0

2002-05-27 Thread cghan

Hello,

Since there's been no official announcement of lyx-1.2.0 yet, I cannot
announce CJK-LyX-1.2.0 now, right?

So, this is for those who want to try CJK-LyX-1.2.0 before the
announcement?

Anyhow, you can download "them" at the usual ftp site,

ftp://stone.phys.pusan.ac.kr/pub/CJK-LyX
