Re: importing feature request
All we need to do is to import to a temp file, open that, then rename it appropriately. I'm no lyx expert but that would have kinda been my thought. Alex.

Re: prettyref latex errors - again
then when you use prettyref, you have to type \prettyref{eq|Max4} instead Is there no way to get lyx to put in the | instead of the : directly or to figure something out so I don't have to actually type the stuff? That's kinda the benefit of using Lyx over direct Tex. You don't have to type as much weird code up. Besides for a document that's already written there's not much I can do but go back and change every one of the hundreds of references... right? Alex.
Re: formatting a long equation
I see.. I used the AMS multiline to split it up.. btw, is there any documentation on using the AMS environments in LyX with the Insert - Math menu options? I think I know how some of them work but if there's some documentation I'd like to take a look at it.. couldn't find it in the help guides. Thanks, nirmal (La)TeX refuses to split equations, believing that they are too complicated for it to know what to do correctly. You have to do it yourself. -- Angus

Please do, btw, can I put a link to it in the CV-example page? (and/or put the lyx-code there?). I'll send it to you in a separate mail.. and sure, you can put a link to the CV as an example.. could add their sample documents. This is work in progress, so for now I'm using my web-site instead ... :-) That's cool.. maybe you can slowly start porting things to the LyX website if it's ok with the site maintainer?
