I add two semi-minimal examples of a well encoded
.lyx file and a bad encoded one. Note that both
display correctly encoded characters when viewed
directly with vi, but they look screwed in badenc.lyx

i copied from a german document to my spanish
document, before doing the copy exporting the document

Is it possible to switch between the font families on-the-fly, or
do I need to always use Layout->Character->Family?

my book document, ie:

stuff

the rest of the stuff
but it wont compile giving errors related to
"\begin{document} being closed by a
\end{center}.\begin{center}\end{center}" (???)
