In my document fonts etc. are set to default but when I export a PDF
file using any of the three methods available its quality is poor when
viewed with xpdf while bei

1) I am still unsure how to include *LyX* macros into a LyX document.

Resulting dvi and postscript outputs using the latest version of imagemagick
seem to have jpg & png images considerably scaled down.
I don't know wether this is related to how lyx calls "convert" or is an
imagemagick problem.

I have also seen this on a new install. I run 5.5.7 Q16 without errors.
I've just tried a .eps on another install with the newer version of
imagemagick and can confirm that it fails.
I'll relink 5.5.7Q16 to the wiki.
