I'm getting some really random bibliography behaviour. In the Layout
-> Document menu, I've chosen to use Natbib, in the Author-Year cite
style. Then, where I've added my Bibliography at the end of the
document, I've selected the format as apalike.
This worked fine until today -- my citations

My author has notes inside her footnotes reminding her to verify
references, archive information, etc., but it seems to me that if I leave
them there (we are migrating a book from Word to Lyx that she won't be
able to easily find them using the navigation menu. Am I doing something

I'm submitting an article to IEEE Circuits and Systems. The submission
instructions require separate pages with all footnotes, all figure captions
(complete, including Fig X. in front of the caption but not including the
page number). Is it possible to accomplish this?

I am writing a document where besides the footnotes which contain
information about the authors I want to put some text which is
common to all the authors and hence requires no numbering.
Is there some way to do it?

has the most you need, so why don't use it as your starting point. So

After quite a long period I am back, now using lyx on Mac OS X. For
some years on my Linux boxes I worked with emacs+auctex and TeXmacs,
which is a really interesting software, but yet still with some
drawbacks.
