Tex Information

I installed Lyx 1.3.6 on Win XP. I went through the steps as described in wiki website. The problem is I am not able to assign the .sh files to open with sh.exe which in the minsys folder. Because of this, I am also not able to get any information when I click on Tex Information drop down menu.

Hi, all. I am happy to find out the new release of LyX 1.3.6 for windows. The installation(on windows 2003 server) is smooth. Everything works great except that math symbols can't be rendered. Check the attachment for a picture of what I got. It seems that LyX works fine on windows XP. Anyone

File format extension

Is the extension field in Edit->Preferences->File formats documented anywhere? I tried changing the extension for a clone of the PDF (pdflatex) format to 'pdf4' (because I was trying to open it in a non-Acrobat viewer, and the files were opening in Acrobat Reader regardless). Turns out this

Layout Menu
