Hello LyXers,
due to a nasty bug I was forced to publish a new version (0.51) right
after yesterdays release.
Changelog:
Version 0.51
- fix working directories of LyX's desktop and startmenu links
- increase default scale factor for Instant preview from 0.9 to 1.0
You find the new

Here is what I am doing:
1. uninstall 0.5.0. I notice that miktex and aspell are still there
and I removed them through add/remove program. c:\aspell,
Ok guys, I´ll try it when I came back, I´m anxious to do it! Now I´m at
college. Thank you all! I will return if it works or not! :)

I have checked for all the files and the preview.sty latex package but it still

When reading lyx file
the above happens when i try to open my lyxfile.
an errorbox in the document contains this:
Unknown token: \screen_font_roman \author Martin A. Hansen
the snippet from the source file looks like this:

\author Martin A.
My question is a general. It is not about LyX technicalities, so apologies
in advance...
It is no secret that 'document shifts' from TeX to LyX (and vice) are of-
ten lossy or a not-so-graceful ones. I have been using LyX exclusively
since I first came to University (in my late teens).
Ok - i solved this by simply removing the line with \author and
\screen_font_roman
i have no idea where this line comes from. and i also have no idea why there
are multiple \author lines - which is different.
