Hello Les, I found out that the program I use for creating the graphs (Origin) can export images in the PDF format so that solved the problem. I tried substituting the font too (Arial CE for Arial Unicode MS) which even solved the problem with EPS images. Thanks for the advice :) Tomas

Dear LyX users, I would like to thank all of you who helped to partly solve the problem. For now, I will use one of the workarounds that will produce correctly printable ps or pdf output (after all, that´s most most important) and just ignore the ugly view in the LyX GUI/Editor. I don´t know
