If the achemso package includes a .bst file, you will want to select it (changning plain to whatever it's called, presumably achemso). The \usepackage{achemso} command is employed to load a style file (achemso.sty) that, I assume, helps format the in-text citations. Other than that, I'm not sure what you can do to encourage LaTeX to see and use the achemso style file. /Paul

How to make a clone of the Enumerate environment?

However, if I change the LatexName in the LyX environment from questions to enumerate, it outputs as shown in the attached screenshot_enumerate.gif. Can somebody explain to me why the two don't output the same? Can somebody explain how I can truly clone the Enumerate environment? NOTE: In order to toggle the output when switching between LatexType questions and LatexType enumerate, you must Tools-reconfigure and then terminate and restart LyX. Trust me on this -- I tried without reconfiguring and the output didn't toggle. How to make a clone of the Enumerate environment?
Hi all, I'm trying to make a simple clone of the Enumerate environment. Once I can do that, I'll make a few changes. But I've not been able to clone it. Here's my layout file: #% Do not delete the line below; configure depends on this # \DeclareLaTeXClass[book]{quizbook} Input stdclass.inc Preamble \let\questions = \enumerate \let\oldquestions = \oldenumerate EndPreamble Style Questions MarginStatic LatexType Item_Environment LatexName questions NextNoIndent 1 LeftMarginMMN LabelSep xx ParSkip 0.0 ItemSep 0.2 TopSep0.7 BottomSep 0.7 ParSep0.3 Align Block AlignPossible Block, Left LabelType Enumerate End The preceding layout produces the output shown in the attached screenshot_questions.gif. Fwd: Colombia Normas Icontec
Hi. I suscribed to the list because I need some help to work with Lyx and the Colombian norms for documents. First of all, I would like to know if any of you have worked with these norms (maybe a colombian user). I searched through the mail archive and found a thread regarding this topic. If someone has used Lyx for these norms, it would be of great help if he could guide me a little. Anyway, if it's necesary, I could start doing it myself and the thread I found showed some links to create a documentclass. I'm just trying not to re-invent the wheel. Ark
Lyx/MacTex Integration
Anybody working on that? Since Lyx requires some flavor of LaTex to work, and MacTex is the taste our host prefers, it makes sense to me to combine the two. And all the apps and utilities recommended for use with MacTex. Start by determining what isn't necessary in an integrated app, then work out how to put everything together in a package. All things considered I think you'll find such a Lyx Grand a smaller file than what you have to deal with now, and so easier to deal with. Just a thought, play with as you wish.
