Hello again,
So I'm getting into formatting my book. What I really want is for my odd
headers to tell me what "part" (\part) of the book I'm reading. I've
been looking at fancyhdr.pdf, but find no reference to \part. Can \part
be used in a fancy header fairly easily?

would really appreciate some help):

whole page. On their own everyt

Hi
I use beamer to create a handout and would like to have the normal "
instead of the fancy ones. The reason is that they are in computer
code and it should be possible to copy-paste them.
Is there a way to achieve this, preferably a setting for the whole document?

questions:
1) compatibility between LyX 1.6.3 and my version of the MAC OS X: I am
unable to find on http://wiki.lyx.org/Mac/Mac or at

Which encoding is that? The symbol works for me in ISO-8859-1 encoding.

Hi,
in running my lyx file I am told that copyright sign © chosen from the
enter>special characters>symboles -list can not be displayes in the chosen
code setting and it is proposed to use utf8.
I remember, that somebody proposed not to use utf8 coding for my bib-file (I
am using Jabref)
