Hello, I would like to write a magic book in LyX and to do this I need to use a combination of the Book and Braodway classes. In other words, there will be text in chapters and sections and scripting in Broadway style to explain magic tricks. Can somebody give me a hint on how to achieve this?

Hi! I'm trying to create a presentation with beamer, but I found out formulas are written with a different font than that I commonly use. Is it possible to change this? I've been able to change the font of the text but not that of formulas. Thanks!

Hi, thank you all for the suggestions you have sent. Actually I have solved the problem, even if I am not sure how I did it. I made another similar file and progressively I copied into it the slides from the previous one. Maybe the problem was due to some long URL I had put into some slides using

Before you do that, what happens if you change the system-wise font settings for the menus (e.g. try another font)? Do you use 120 dpi or 96 dpi under windows (Display properties-Settings-Advanced)? Both and they look fine on my machine. Best regards, Olivier Hi, I did change the

Hello, Ages ago I asked this list about how to do APA references for my thesis, and since with rgheck's help I ended up with a method that seems to be working properly I figured it might be useful for someone else: install Biblatex:

Hi, You could try looking at the log files that are generated with each run of pdflatex. That can pin point the exact point where the conversion fails. I had a similar problem, and the log files helped a lot. Regards, Nikunj.
