Re: Multiple authors in LyX medical journal article
2010/6/26 morryh: I'm new to LyX, but very excited about using it to produce articles to submit to medical research journals. I've read the Introduction, gone through the Tutorial, and have read large amounts of the User Guide. But I can't find an answer to a problem I'm having. I have multiple authors for the article, and LyX has only the last-listed author in the resultant PDF. Can anyone help? It depends a bit on the class you are using, but usually, authors are separated by \and in TeX-mode (i.e., within the author paragraph, type: First Author Strg+L \and blank Strg+i Right Arrow Second Author) HTH, Jürgen morryh

Layout file command to remove a default preamble line
Dear all, I'm currently writing a new layout file and wondering if there is any command usable in the layout file to control the preamble which LyX automatically adds. Specifically, LyX automatically adds a preamble line: \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} but the document class requires this to be eliminated. It doesn't seem the command Provides fontenc 1 work in the layout file. Are there any ways to remove this preamble? I appreciate very much if anyone could give me any instructions or hints. Koji
